*Started with just over 7.5 gallons of well water. Mashed in at 159 and dropped to a steady 152 for 60 minutes.Added Yeast nutrient at 10 min.
Added extra pound of 2 row and .5oz at 30 minutes
First batch with new BIAB Clawhammer rig. 5oz Vic Secret dry hops added on 3/15/22
Yeast lag was around 24hrs from pitch to start of visible fermentation. First round of dry hops (3oz Sabro) added 1/5/21. Fermenting at 168. Ramped up fermentation temp 4 degrees for a diacetyl rest on 1/11/21. Kegged 2/2/2021 - Smells and tastes wonderful!
Lactose added 10 minutes into boil. Soured at 90 degrees for 28 hours. Added 14oz of coconut to hop spider at 110 degrees as I was reheating to whirlpool temp of 180 where I added the whirlpool hops.
5 day dry hops added 5/31/2020. Fermentation is running a littile high at 72 degrees consistently. Moved to 62 degree fermentation chamber on 6/5 and then dropped temp gradually to cold crash over 4 days. Set temp at 32-34 degrees on 6/9.
Fermenting started at 69 degrees. Dropped below 67 after day 1. 1st round of dry hops added day 2 of fermentation. 2nd round added day 5.
Fermenting at 66 degrees in chamber. Added 1st round of dry hops at day 3 of fermentation. 3oz 2018 yakima valley citra.
Transferred to secondary on 9/13/18. Cold crashed on 9/17/18.
Dry hops added 5/27. 1oz Mosaic Pellets
Transferred to secondary on 5/5/18 2oz citra and 2oz galaxy pellets dry hopped.
Calculated mash water at 1.5l to every pound of grain or 6 gallons. Transferred to secondary w/2nd round of hops after 6 days.
4.1 gallons of mash water and 6.5 gallons of sparge water.
Citra dry hops added 1/18/2017.0
Transferred to secondary on 1/12/2016. 5 total ounces of hops put into secondary for dry hop additions.
Plucked the hops right before the boil. So fresh, so mmmmmm...
Cold crashed on 8/15/2016. Dry hopped for 11 days.
