I'm a beer enthusiast that ordered a beer kit one day and made the mistake of going into youtube to research "how to make that beer kit". I stumble upon some videos there were some guys were playing "mad scientists" with grain, hops, yeast, etc.
So... that same night I started buying all-grain brewing equipment. Yup, I did that. Did I mentioned I was in Canada working at the time? LOL. It's been almost a year since
Cheers!!

Brewed this one in a rush and made a mistake mashing. I ended up with an OG of 1.043. I read the wrong number in the washing steps and mashed with about a gallon less than I was supposed to. I tried to compensate that gallon on the sparge water (batch sparge). By the looks of it, I may end up with a lower SRM too (not a big deal for me). The rest of the brew went well. So far, the aroma and taste of the wort were great. Let's see
I messed up the amount of water on mash by mistake. Ended up with 7.5 gal for boil and at 1.053 OG instead of 1.060 as per the recipe
I missed the OG on this one. I guess I had issues @ mash (conversion)
