KOLSCH - Brewed from NB kit. 6 lbs LME and 1 lb DME all Pilsen. 1 oz tradition @60 and 1 oz Hersbrucker @30.Primaried 1 week and racked to secondary.

This brew session used the kit from Northern Brewer, which is slightly different from the recipe. Not all the kit ingredients are available at ritebrew so I made some substitutions in the recipe.

I added 1 gallon cold water to wort at flame-out, and 2 quarts to primary after chilling/racking was complete. Dumped on 4/4. Contaminated from cross-flow wort chiller.
