Grist was too fine, had some stuck mashes. Consider using rice hulls next time and adjusting grist size.Too much water in mash. Focus on calculating volumes up front.Temp ramp ups took a long time. Get some reflectix from hardware store for mash tun and HLT.

overshot mash in temp because i forgot to remove lactose from grain weight. mashed in at 157f and let cool through circulation to 152 over 15 minutes.volume into kettle 12 gallonspre-boil gravity - 1.036
