This is the first beer I made by myself. The aim was to have it finished in time for Easter. I used Mangrove Jacks Craft Series M27 Belgian Ale yeast, but I could not find that in the list. I split the batch into two fermentation containers, so the last one seems to have gotten the most of the sugar (it was amazing, the other one was good too, but not as good as the last one)
We Mash in at 151 F, let it rest for 15 minutes before we start to vorlauf our mash with heat on our wort grant. After an hour of heat, our average mash temp is around 162 F and we transfer the wort to the boil kettle. We use first wort hops additions of a hop type called 07270 which sits around 17% AA.
