This biere de garde is all about the yeast, Brewer's Gold hops, and the added malt complexity of CaraVienna malt (which I believe may have been rebranded as Cara Ruby).

This was supposed to be a slightly scaled up version of a previous Biere de Garde recipe I really enjoyed, but the store was out of the both the defining specialty malt and the defining hops that made the flavor combination unique. I substituted a few things here, and it should still yield good results, but there's no point pretending that it's the same. Instead of caravienne and Brewers Gold, this one uses Aromatic malt and Nugget hops.
