Bitter brewed with my 2023 homegrown Boxelder blend of hops. Because of the hail this summer, this is all I got out of my plants this year. Also mixing some old yeast together (S-04 & WLP530) just because that is what I have and I want to see what happens.
#144 this is the 4th time brewing this. I'm going with a touch more brown sugar and adjusting the hops bring it up close to 70 IBU's. Also using the step mash from the last brew, this gave me an efficiency of 81% so I'm hoping this will give me at least 75 or more.

134 My Bitter brewed with home grown hops. This time switched the Maris Otter with Golden Promise.
Dry pitched at 90F, heatwrap set to 98F and insulation in chamber, in keg with gas post removed and blowoff tube, 1.067 OG, went to 1.017 within 20 hours. Stalled there with temp and agitation. Cold crashed at 3 days, carbed at 4 days, pretty decent
