My standard stout recipe, using local malt and hops.

Recipe of Milk Stout taken from Beer Junkies online and adjusted to suit availability of grains, quantity and taste. I was short of base malt so I overdid the medium crystal Malt and I just did other ingredients to get the final figures that I needed for the mash. I will report on the findings after bottling.
Holiday Peppermint Chocolate Milk Stout
Mashed at 148 for 75 minutes. 75-minute boil. 12 oz. lactose boiled last 15 minutes. 4 oz. cacao nibs added at flameout. OG 1.053. FG 1.020.
