Mash Steps

No mash steps in this recipe

Special Instructions

1.
Mashed at 65C for 1 hour then up to 75C for 10 mins mash out
2.
Sparged with water at at 77C then on to boil Hops added as above
3.
Pomegranate Molasses added to boil for 30 mins
4.
Malt extract and maltodextrin powder added to fermenter for 20 min boil
5.
50mls Mangrove Jack's Apricot Flavour & 30mls caramel flavouring added at end of boil
6.
Chilled. Pure Brew added with Yeast at 18C
7.
Fermenting well 15 hrs.. Still fermenting on 12th December, 11 days after brewing
8.
Racked on 15th December. SG1.034
9.
Still fermenting slowly on 28th December. SG1.022 Put in cellar.
10.
Cold crashed on 28th Dec. for 4 days.
11.
Bottled with 50gms brewing sugar on 2nd Jan. 2021. SG1.022
