A sketch for a Baltic Porter, to be brewed in Fall 2022. #3 of 4 in my Funeralopolis dark beer series.
A Baltic Porter done with a Kolsch Ale yeast. Low amount of hops, HUGE amounts of flavor. It has very malty and sweet overtones with a very bready finish and a hint of dark Carafa on the back palate. To gain the rich chocolate, toffee, anise, and nutty flavors we used D-180 and Caramunich.
