A Baltic Porter done with a Kolsch Ale yeast. Low amount of hops, HUGE amounts of flavor. It has very malty and sweet overtones with a very bready finish and a hint of dark Carafa on the back palate. To gain the rich chocolate, toffee, anise, and nutty flavors we used D-180 and Caramunich.
Gravity reading has hints of a smoky roastiness and chocolate. This is going to be a great beer when its cold and carbed!

Had to pitch Nottingham from Danstar. Fermentation never really took off. 4 days after brew day beer is sitting at 1.018 gravity. Will check again tomorrow. Otherwise it will sit for 4 days then get moved to cold crash for a few weeks.
