Messed some stuff up - cooled down too slowly, not 100% on disinfecting stuff due to rush for time at end
22 g 5.0AA fuggles for 1 hr boil. Used 2 fermenters for 2 separate 1 gallon batches, pitched 6g yeast each. Seems really, really high, but https://www.brewersfriend.com/yeast-pitch-rate-and-starter-calculator/ suggests that even that is low. We will see.I did not remember brewing this, so I have changed the recipe since this was brewed. For this brew session I had no caramel 120 and a TON more caramel 80. More caramel 80 than this shows for 80 120 combined.
Boiled 1.5 gallons, diluted with distilled water to 1.070 OG at about 2 gallons.
May have to ferment a bit warm
OG temp was 75-78 Deg F. Read about 1.070 (I am terrible at reading the hydrometer and there were bubbles). Fermenter airlock started bubbling within minutes of pitching the yeast.
