Based off Brew it Yourself book recipe, but hops recommended by Dunedin Malthouse. Pacific Jade hops were suggested by shop, but as recipe shows, just far far too bitter, which definitely came through with drinking. A reasonable brew, but not an IPA.
Super-simple recipe using only dry malt extract. Focused on balancing the bready maltiness with a lot of subtle hops. This is a solid ESB with minimal effort.
Malty ESB. Strong malt and honey flavors with low IBU. I keep carbonation low to preserve pub origins.
