 Water Infusion  Mash/Boil  Fermentation
Started at 3pm - Cleaning Mashed with 4.5 L - Water placed in Tun at 80C - next time heat to 75 max and cool in tun before mashing in. Grain mashed in at 68C - Temp dropped to 62 so topped up with about 300ml of boiled water Sparged with 4 L Water After sparge - too much wort for pan. Filled to 7c mark on thermometer from top of pan - check volume later with water and jug. Started heating to boil temp at 17.43 Rolling boil at 18:01 - 18 min boil time. 5g Citra added after hot break - almost foamed over. 3g Citra added at 9mins left Irish moss added 5 mins left Wort level post boil - at -10C on Thermometer Cooled to 29c and transferred to Fermenter via sieve and mesh bag (Cool more next time if not topping up with cold water) Temp at 25c after filter Pitched yeast at 24c OG 1.050 Sun 7th June - dry hopped 20g citra Sg at 1.010. Did it rack into new FV Wort level pre boil was 7L Wort level post boil was 5.25L
