Update 7/30/20. Did no chill method. Used Opshaug Kveik strain
500ml water, 100g DME, 1/4 tsp yeast slurry Horn G2 Mash 15min w/amylase 7/27, 1.062, pitch @ 42c, 12hrs, full krausen 7/28, 1.042 7/29, 1.029, finish 1.028 Hydro FG: 1.012
Mash pH was about 5.5 so I brought it way down with 4ml LA, was around 4.95 pre-boil (oops) Hops: 1/4 oz Columbus @60 1/2 oz Columbus @30 1 oz Rakau 1 oz Galaxy @5 2oz Galaxy @ FO 2oz Galaxy 1 oz Citra @ 185* whirlpool 2oz Citra 1 oz Galaxy @ dry hop OG 1.049-50 Pitched one dry packet of US-05 and started in the low 60*s - took off pretty quickly in 12 hours or so
fermentar a 18o.
V3 aims to add some complexity to the hop aroma and flavour. Malt profile of V2 compared to V1 is significantly improved, malt presence without overpowering like V1. Bitterness seems about right, wouldn't go higher.
