Fantastic. As close to Metropolis (L.A.) Christmas Ale as I have ever gotten.
Bottled with 4 bag Cocoa Tango + 2 bag mulling spice in priming sugar water (20 oz.) + 5.35~ oz. DME. Marsbar filled almost ALL the bottles, for a seven year old he's awesome! 1.022 FG, but it's been that way for a week, stable. Cold chilled for 3+ days ~40-50 deg. F.
Note: I had many challenges - wort got stuck 18+ days ago at 1.038. Attached two warming mats and repitched my IPA west coast yeast, full bag, over time it came down to 1.022, was stable for 10+ days, cold chilling dropped out the juniper berries and blueberries from the top, thank God.
Fun fact: this style is a Baltic Porter according to the numbers on Brewgr...Style sheet was expecting 1.015, but we got 1.022. Baltic Porter, perfect, BOOM!
TAsted delicious. Not ready, little shite. 1.036 FG? Not done. RAcked with 1 lb. teeny blueberries, 5 oz. DME (that was my priming sugar, bitch) and 3 T. Mosaic. Happy new years, maybe. Not happy. Not worried, relaxing, having homebrew.
