Primary Fermentation: 1 Days 55 Deg Primary Fermentation(2): 52 Deg for 7 days Secondary Fermentation: 6 days 62 Deg Additional Fermentation: Lower temp 5 Deg/day till 32 Deg Lager for 6 weeks http://beersmith.com/blog/2014/01/24/brewing-the-perfect-lager-at-home ______________________________________________________________ Brew day 02/18/18 Missed Target Gravity by .10 Actual OG 1.062 @ 70.9 F Ended up with 5Gal instead of 5.5Gal and failed to top with the missing 1/2Gal. ______________________________________________________________ 02/2418 1.028 @ 68F Still a little sweet, so it needs some more time. A little grainy and bready, but no off yeast flavors. Not crazy about the nose, it's a little pungent, but I'm hoping that will die out. Target FG 1.019 ________________________________________________________________ 02/26/18 1.014 @68F Raised temperature to 62F on day 8 (instead of day 7 waiting for OG to drop, still off by .03) _________________________________________________________________ 03/10/18 1014 @ 68F

Notes:

Much drier just two days later, most of the sweetness is gone. Nice bready flavor. Still some residual sweetness on palate but hopefully it will die out.
