Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
mash grains at 154?F (68?C) for one hour
2.
Mash out at 162?F (72?C) for 10 minutes
3.
then raise to 172?F (78?C) and commence sparge
4.
Boil for 90 minutes
5.
Use rice hulls if a rye-induced stuck sparge is a concern
6.
Steep aroma hops for five minutes at knockout and proceed with wort chilling.
7.
Ferment at 68?F (20?C) until finished
8.
rack on to bagged, weighted dry hops and hold for three days.
9.
Remove dry hops
10.
Crash cool and condition the beer for at least a week before packaging.
