The real McChouffe (My favourite beer of all time) is described like this...I’m still trying to perfect it. Mc CHOUFFE is also characterised by its spicy aniseed and liquorice flavours, superbly complemented by full-bodied caramel notes. Despite its robustness, Mc CHOUFFE is surprisingly smooth. It even reveals delicious fruity notes, especially pear, as well as a very slight hint of bitterness at the end of the palate.

Notes:

Tasted after racking, it is very sweet, with a good hint of hops at the end. Sweetness should mellow after bottling for 2-3 weeks.
