My 3rd all grain. Generic Pilsner type Lager using existing stock. Target was 37L with OG of 1055. I didn’t get even close. Made a 4L yeast starter and added all of it as it hadn’t settled out which took my 37L to 41L. Tried for a stepped Mash of 60c for 18mins 65c for 30 mins and 75c for 10 mins but didn’t input it correctly on my Hopcat. Not enough grain for the batch size? Lowered the already filled grain basket into the Hopcat rather than pouring it in. Don’t think I will bother again.
