All Grain American Pale Ale homebrew recipe. This homebrew recipe uses the following ingredients: Golden Promise - UK, CaraMunich I - DE, Carapils - Dextrine Malt - US, Mt. Hood Hops, Hallertau Hops, White Labs Amer. Ale Blend WLP060 Homebrew Yeast, Fermax Yeast Nutrient, whirlfloc (15minute).
Brewed this beer again, and again, its a very good beer. My efficiencies were better this time at 73% with 6.29% abv., the taste is hoppy, malty just a little bitter at the end, another week in the bottle, the little bit of bitter should mellow out... NOTE* This was just brewed 12/26/2018.
Pretty good beer...Hoppy but not to the extent of a I.P.A., little bitter in the middle and malt in the end. Very happy with this simple recipe, will brew again. The ABV turned out to be 5.5% so didn't loose much.

I had lower than normal Efficiencies @ 67%, I believe, because the grain was not crushed well enough, although I have not checked the F.G. yet (still fermenting), I think it will lower my ABV to around 5% instead of the original of 5.7% ABV., (chit happens)

Changed Golden Promise to 8 lbs. from 10 lbs. and added 3 lbs. of 2-row

Took the 2-row out and went to 11 lbs. of Golden Promise...also took out .5 0z. of Mt. Hood @30 min. and added it too a .5 Flameout addition for more aroma.
