Tasting Notes (2)

Scratch

Tasted on 10/30/2015 by Scratch

Notes:

Clear amber color with a nice head and lacing. Moderate jalapeno aroma. Flavors of cracker-like malt, herbal hops, and jalapenos with some heat at the finish and after the swallow. Light bodied and crisp.

Scratch

Tasted on 10/2/2014 by Scratch

Notes:

Clear caramel color with a fingers worth of head. Fair amount of runny lacing. Strong jalapeno smell with some caramel malt and floral hop notes in the background. Strong amount of jalapeno heat. Good caramel malt and jalapeno flavor with enough hop bitterness for balance. On the heavy end of light bodied and slightly creamy. Perfect amount of carbonation. Great tasting beer. Might need to lower the amount of jalapenos in the secondary next time but otherwise perfect.
