1.Mash at 155 for 1 hour w/ 2x batch sparge
2.add 2-3 oz. coffee grounds to kettle in mesh bag durring sparge until it starts to boil
3.Secondary 2-3 oz whole bean coffee and bourbon soaked oak chips

I saw KBS and thought Kentucky Breakfast Stout. Is this a KBS clone or does KBS mean something else?

it is suppose to be the Kentucky Breakfast Stout from founders, I am still aging it now, not sure it I want to go for 1 month or 2

Let us know how it turns out...where I live I can't get KBS without buying one on eBay, and I haven't had the pleasure of trying one. If this is close, I'll have to brew it and get the next best thing.

Is one or two months long enough for this? Founders ages theirs for 1 year in their special mines. Im brewing this next month so tasting notes would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
