Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Heat up to 6.5 gallons water to 6.5 degrees F
2.
Steep specialty grains (2 row, caramel 15, wheat malt) x 30 minutes.
3.
Add LME, mix, and bring to boil.
4.
After hot break, add 1st hop addition.
5.
At 30 minutes add .5 oz Tettn. hops.
6.
Boil water (5-8 oz.) cool to 90 degrees, add yeast, rehydrate for 15 minutes. Mix before pitching yerast
7.
At 20 minutes add .5 oz Tettn. hops.
8.
At 10 minutes add .5 oz Tettn. hops, whirlfloc tablet, yeast nutrient, and wort chiller.
9.
Chill wort to 75 degrees and pitch rehydrated yeast.
10.
Ferment in Primary for 5-7 days, then transfer to secondary for 5 days, then bottle or keg.
