• 2nd place Speciality Category 2013 Lee's Summit Oktoberfest Homebrew Competition

I wanted to make a milk chocolate stout but it was closer to a brown porter. I really liked the base style but wanted more complexity so I added some Mexican Vanilla Bean to the keg. It was entered in the speciality category because I already had another beer in the SHV. Enter it in SHV with the vanilla beans, but the base by itself is a really solid brown porter.
