Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Crush the grains.
2.
Bring 3.8 gallons water to 165F for mash strike
3.
Steep grains 60 minutes at 152F
4.
Bring to boil again and add 2 oz Cascade hop pellets in bag.
5.
Boil 30 minutes.
6.
Add 1oz Cascade hop pellets in bag 1 min before flameut
7.
Chill wort to 95F, remove hop bags.
8.
Pour wort into 6.5 gallon primary fermentor, through strainer.
9.
Fill to 6 gallons with cold water 56F.
10.
Pitch yeast at 72F and stir/aerate.
11.
Seal fermentor with fermentation lock.
12.
Ferment 7 days at room temperature.
13.
Rack to secondary fermentor, condition 2 - 4 weeks.
