broke thermometer in boil kettle1.052 OG, but I forgot to add turbinado. Perhaps I can boil to sanitize and add later. Also seemed like I had too much volume so I boiled an extra 10 min, but still ended up with only 4.6 to fermenterMore than 7 gals from sparge, seemed too much for kettle so boiled 1.5 gal separately for 30 mins, but only ended up wtih 4.6 gals to fermenter. mash a bit messed up with temp getting to 172 (remote thermometer blew it) and then didn't really come down from there. sparge was fairly quick, didn't mess around, probably 7 gallons to kettle. OG about 5.4 , 4.5 gallons to fermenter4 oz old mosaic hops in boil for 35 min. After 60 min boil it only took about 3 mins with coil to get to 180 - added the homegrown hops (cascade/columbus - these seem stale so not expecting much), 30 min hop stand. 3/1/2020 from primary to secondary with about ...
