broke thermometer in boil kettle
1.052 OG, but I forgot to add turbinado. Perhaps I can boil to sanitize and add later. Also seemed like I had too much volume so I boiled an extra 10 min, but still ended up with only 4.6 to fermenter
More than 7 gals from sparge, seemed too much for kettle so boiled 1.5 gal separately for 30 mins, but only ended up wtih 4.6 gals to fermenter. Kinda weird.
4/19/20 - added the 8 oz turbinado to fermenter after boiling, cooling
4/29/20 - to secondary 1.014 gravity, amazing peach fruity aroma and flavor. Outstanding! Going to try to save yeast.
5/3/20 - 1 oz citra 0.5oz Mosaic, 0.5 oz Simcoe dry hops
5/8/20 - 1 oz citra 0.5 Mosaic, 0.5 simcoe (removed the prior hops)
5/17/20 - bottled 24 22 oz bottles - aroa and flavor still wonderfl - didn't have hydrometer so lets go w 1.012 gravity which wold make it about 5.25 abv
