(Include any important notes from brew day until tasting)
mash a bit messed up with temp getting to 172 (remote thermometer blew it) and then didn't really come down from there. sparge was fairly quick, didn't mess around, probably 7 gallons to kettle. OG about 5.4 , 4.5 gallons to fermenter
4 oz old mosaic hops in boil for 35 min. After 60 min boil it only took about 3 mins with coil to get to 180 - added the homegrown hops (cascade/columbus - these seem stale so not expecting much), 30 min hop stand.
3/1/2020 from primary to secondary with about 1.5 oz home hops (Columbus / Cascade) 1.016 gravity
3/5/2020 more hops / pull out od
3/9/2020 more hops
3/14/2020 bottled 17 22 oz plus 2 with bits and bobs. 1.014 gravity would make it 5.25% ABV
3/28/2020 - very nice, crisp with quite a bit of bite - light, slight haze. A very good bitter pale - though not much aroma except that homebrew hoppy aroma - not bad, not great. Very nice head and carbonation
