Special Instructions
1.1 liter Yeast Starter 24 Hrs. in advance
2.Added 10 quarts of 180 Deg. water to the mash, which gave me a mash temp. of 165 Deg. and let it sit for 20 minutes.
3.Heated another 10 quarts to 180 Deg. started spargeing when the water got just above the grain bed, got 6.5 gals. of wotrt and started the boil.
Opened a bottle today 9/6/19...The carbonation is not quite there yet. The color is spot on, cloudy and very pale, the aroma is more clove then anything. The taste is clove and very little banana, if any. I will let it carbonate another week. I think, because I overpitched the WLP300 by making a starter and fermenting at a lower temp (65 deg.) instead of the lower 70's it gave me more of a clove taste, but time will tell...still good.
