Notes:

Holy moly. This beer definitely turned out well. Appearance is the darker end of golden, slightly hazy with sediment. Head is bright, pure white but with low retention due to not yet full carbonation. Perfect color for a saison in my book. Aroma is perfumy tart orange, banana, bubblegum, pineapple, apple, pear and light clove. Flavor is rich: Sweet, grainy, corn tortilla like maltiness, lightly tart orange and grapefruit. Slight black pepper and clove which is kind of hard to pick out specifically. Smooth and gentle alcohol notes which never come across as harsh or solventy. Finishes with relative balance tipped slightly in favor of hop and alcohol bitterness. Medium body with good but not great carbonation. I would never guess that this is a 9% beer, I love it!
