Special Instructions
1.Intended to mash at 148°F but ended up at ~152°F. Topped 2.5 gallons of wort with 2.5 gallons of water. Measured OG at 1.064. Aerated with O2 for ~30 seconds. Added slurry from yeast starter (probably a little lower number of cells than normal).
2.Started fermentation at ambient basement temperature (~58°F). Will let the temperature naturally rise and fall for ~3 weeks before transferring to secondary for lagering.
3.Measured specific gravity prior to moving into secondary and got ~1.022. I will warm up the beer to 60F for a few days to try to finish off the fermentation prior beginning the lagering.
