I do not like how this came out. When smelling and tasting from the fermenter before bottling, it was amazing. Raspberry nose and raspberry forward in taste. The middle was dark chocolate and it had a nice tart, crisp raspberry finish. It may have tasted like that initially but this is the first chance I've had to taste it.
It has some raspberry flavor but then it immediately gets taken over by a coffee taste. Bitter black coffee at that. There's nothing on the nose. No chocolate, no raspberry, no malt, nothing. There's still a tart finish but now it's overpowered by the bitterness from the hops.
I think next time, I'll change the time that I add the warrior hops and use a different yeast too.
