Notes:
Color is a deep dark ruby with good carbonation that gives it a thin tight off white head. Aroma is slightly sweet and fruity with a mild hop spice. It has a medium body with a crisp mouthfeel. Flavor is mild malt with light fruit notes then a bold hop spiciness and bitterness. In the aftertaste the bitterness comes up a little more and the hop spice holds on. There seems to be a little yeast trying to come though but it's just overpowered by the hop spice and on the end you get a note of the alcohol. Overall I feel this one is a fail, it's tasty and drinkable but Chinook just isn't the right hop for this style and overpowers the flavor.
