Mash Steps

Special Instructions

Mash at a water-to-grist ratio of 1.4 qt/lb w/ low-residual-alkalinity water

Mash @ 150 F (66 C)
3.
Sparge @ 170 - Collect 7gal of wort
4.
Boil uncovered for 90 Min
5.
Add 60 min hops
6.
Add 15 min hops, Irish Moss, and Yeast Nutrient
7.
After boil - stir vigorously to create a whirlpool
8.
Chill to 60 F ( 16 C )
9.
Transfer to Fermenter, Double Pitch Yeast and Oxygenate for 1 min with pure O2
10.
Ferment 4-5 days - let sit for up to 10 more days near 60F
11.
Transfer to lagering vessel (Glass or SS) and cool by 5 F per day to 33 F
12.
Lager for 3-4 weeks (6 is best)
