1-21-16 - Last time I didn't hit the efficiency level and only got a 7.5% batch. Will attempt to do a batch/fly sparge this time. Given the amount of grain, I am going to try to hit 60% efficiency and get an 8% beer this time. I will do 6 gallons strike, 2 gallons batch sparge, and 2 gallons fly sparge to see what I end up with.1-23-17 - Pitched the yeast without a starter...thinking with this high SG i should have done a starter.
