No mash steps in this recipe
Special Instructions
1.Heat up 4.6 gallons of strike water to 162 degrees F.
2.Pour grain bill into mash tun.
3.Pour 162 degree strike water into mash tun & stir into grains thoroughly.
4.Mash for 60 minutes at 150 degrees F.
5.Heat up 4.6 gallons of sparge water to 170 degrees F.
6.Vourloff until wort runs clear of debris.
7.Slowly drain off wort into boil kettle.
8.Batch sparge with the 4.6 gallons of 170 degree water.
9.Stir in well.
10.Steep for 15-20 minutes, vourloff, drain wort into brew kettle.
11.Boil wort, get past hot break, then start hop additions. 90 minute boil!
12.Add Nugget Hops at 60 minutes remaining in boil.
13.At 15 minutes left in the boil, add. Citra & Mosaic Hops, Whirlfloc tablet, yeast food, and wort chiller.
14.At flame out add Citra Hops and steep for 15 minutes.
15.Chill wort to 75 degrees, transfer to fermenter, aerate wort, pitch yeast, affix air lock.
16.When fermentation is complete, dry hop with the Citra & Mosaic Hops for 5 days.
17.Transfer to secondary fermenter and ferment for 2 weeks.
