Special Instructions

First Wort Hop 90 Minute Addition
2.
Add 2 oz Cocoa Nibs and 2 shots espresso at 30 Minutes left
3.
Soak Oak Cubes in Bourbon for 2 Days
4.
Combine espresso, oak cubes, cocoa nibs and 1 tsp bourbon
5.
Let coffee/oak/cocoa/bourbon sit for 10 minutes then add to secondary
6.
Transfer beer to secondary
7.
Age for .... ???

Notes:

Almost a year of aging...this was the last bottle. Nice subtle chocolate flavors, mild bourbon. Super dark, thick dark head, malty, big body, medium alcoholic.

    The Flu hit our house, so I didn't get around to making this when I originally wanted to, but finally the day has arrived. I decided to make a 5 Gallon batch, and I'm brewing this bad boy today.
