Hops were no equally distributed between the carboys, need longer whirlpool next time or switch wort drainage back and forth between carboys.Pitched white labs 5/28 one pouch in each.
Need to heat water more... maybe 170... nvm
1st running 4g. sparged with full volume called for. used WLP800 yeast for one carboy and Wyeast 2278 in the other one.Lagered at 50F 4/11 to 4/27 (17 days), di-acyl rest 4/27-5/2 at ~68F (5 days), cold crash to 40F 5/2-5/15 (13 days). WLP carboy did have some blowoff water sucked in.Wyeast batch 6.43% (kegged)WLP batch 6.5% (bottled), added 2/3 cup of priming sugar
