Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Heat 3qt water to 160deg
2.
Steep grains for 45 min @ 149deg
3.
Start 2gal in boil kettle; heat 1.5qts to 170 deg in sep pot (sparge)
4.
Place grain bag over boil kettle; pour "strike" water over grains; Pour "sparge" over grain bag.
5.
Stir in dried malt; bring to boil
6.
Boil Time = 75 min
7.
Stir in Liquid Malt at end of boil; Cover; let sit 5min
8.
Cool wort; xfer to fermenter; top to 5 gal; dry hop, aerate.
9.
Pitch Yeast; Ferment @ 66deg
