Brew No.18 Do again. Yes definitely. Not my favourite style but loved this. Vanilla pod great. MM kit. 8/10. ABV: 3.2% Attenuation - 64% OG:1049 FG:1026 - 3.2% - Not sure why OG so low, probably added too much water to boil. Good flavour though. Also not carbonated enough. Would do again. Recipe OG: 1.056 FG: 1.018 ABV 5%

Special Instructions

Take yeast out of fridge

ChemSan Sanitiser (10ml per 5 litres) (70ML - 35Lt) - Fermenter, tubes, air lock.

Water to Mash kettle. 15Lt
4.
Water to Sparge Kettle 17Lt
5.
Camden tablets to Both - 3.2 to Mash, 3.7 to Sparge. (5 Tabs per 23Lt)
6.
AMS to both - 10.5ml to Mash Kettle - 15ml to Sparge Kettle (22ml per 25Lt)
7.
DWB to mash kettle only 7.8g (13g per 25Lt)

Set mash kettle to 70C

Add mash bag.

Add mash. Temperature 67C - Mash for 60 mins. Mash out 75C last 10 mins

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW Set sparge water temperature to 77C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOW

Turn off mash kettle

Drain wort into bucket

Add sparge

Leave for 20 mins to rest

Add sparge liquor to wort - Discard mash

Add total liquor back into mash kettle - Boil for 60 mins

Add hop spider

60 mins - 20g Fuggles

45 mins - 5g Coffee Beans

30 mins - 12g Fuggles
25.
30 mins - Vanilla Pod

15 mins - 7.5g Organic Chocolate

15 mins - 150g Lactose

Turn off Kettle.

Cool wort to yeast pitch 15-20C.

Hydrometer target - OG 1049

Store fermenter at 21C

Chemipro. Warm Water (4g/1Lr) (140g - 35Lt) Bottles. Syphon Tube and tap.

Clean Mash tun to fermenter tube. Spare fermentation drub container. Black stoppers. Airlock.

Sugar - 17Lt beer/34 bottles - 84g sugar - 170ml water - 5ml per bottle
36.
ChemSan Sanitiser (30ML - 15Lt) (60ml per 30Lt) - Syphon Tube & tap, caps, bottle machine.

Hydrometer target - FG 1026
40.
Chemiclean - 50g = 20Lts. Soak and hand wash. Hot water.
