Notes:
Evident, but a bit mild roasty smell (chocolate, coffee). Despite of the 50g of roasted oak cubes added to the secondary the oaky aromas are a bit faded.
Alcohol is present but not overwhelming, and the beer has a nice body and mouthfeel to it. Roasty flavours are there, but the amount of chocolate malt/roasted barley should be increased next time a bit to compensate the big body / alcohol content (I think I will just add an extra 100g of roasted barley). Just a little bitterness at the end from the hops. Also probably the big body makes the 50IBU feel much less, but for me that works just fine in such a beer.
