Special Instructions

1.
29gal of strike water (1.397 qt/lb of grain) with 47.87g 85% phosphoric acid
2.
Add 17.9g gypsum, 3.3g calcium chloride to strike water
3.
Fill HLT to 22gal & add 28.64g 85% phosphoric acid
4.
Mash in between 140F-145F & let sit for 45min
5.
Heat to 156F & let sit for 20min
6.
Heat to 168F then start sparge
7.
10gal of water absorbed by grain (.5 qt/lb of grain loss)
8.
Fly sparge with 22 gallons Heated to 175F
9.
add Irish Moss & Yeast Nutrient with 10 min left in boil
10.
$80 per 5gal
11.
2 step yeast starter, 1st step 2liters, 2nd 12L @ 1.040
