Stouts always have some measure of roasted barley. It gives them that strong stout flavor they are noted for. What you have here is an Oatmeal Porter. How did it turn out?

I don't remember exactly how this recipe came about, I went down a stout/porter rabbit hole a few years back and don't remember if I created this recipe or if I found it somewhere. I never brewed this one, still might try it sometime. I think Jamil has an oatmeal stout recipe that uses black patent and no roasted barley that I might try sometime as well.
