Notes:

Dark, no transparency. Mostly coffee scents with a faint hop smell. Great taste, very light and crisp. The hop flavors are not very noticeable, it is almost all roasted barley Lacks most of the qualities of a robust stout, yet doesn't taste much like a porter. There isn't much mouthfeel, dry without creaminess or heaviness. There is little bitterness; mostly in the aftertaste resulting as much from the roasted barley as the hops. I could drink this beer all day. It's low in alcohol and not very filling so it's great as a session beer. I made it for my wife's 30th birthday party and we killed all five gallons in one night. Many of my friends said they liked it but generally don't enjoy stouts. If I brew this beer again i will probably adjust (increase) the hop flavor and grain bill to make certain flavors more prominent. Also makes great car bombs.
