All Grain Imperial Stout homebrew recipe. This homebrew recipe uses the following ingredients: Pale 2-Row - US, Flaked Oats - US, Roasted Barley - US, Chocolate - BE, Extra Dark Crystal 120L - UK, De-Bittered Black - BE, Nugget Hops, Willamette Hops, Wyeast American Ale 1056 Homebrew Yeast, Belgian bittersweet chocolate, T-15 min, Unsweetened cocoa nibs, T-15 min, Ground Sumatran coffee, T-0 min, Toasted oak chips, Kentucky bourbon, Ground cold brewed Kona coffee.
2.Condition in secondary at 55-60F for 2 to 6 months.
3.Soak toasted oak chips in bourbon for 2 days. Pitch two weeks prior to bottling.
4.Soak 2 oz (mass) kona coffee grounds in 8-16 fl oz boiled cooled water for overnight covered in fridge. Strain and pitch at bottling.

For smoother coffee flavor do the Sumatra as cold brew also. And I like to soak my nibs in bourbon with the oak. Boiling temps bring out astringency in coffee and cacao.Makes a smoother breakfast stout. Cheers!
