Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Steep Grains @ 150 degrees for 20 minutes in 1.5 gallons water
2.
Remove grains, add 1 G hot water, bring to a boil and add extract and 3 drops ferm cap s
3.
This is a 30 minute boil, add hops according to schedule
4.
Add wirlfloc tablet at 45 minutes
5.
After 30 minutes, remove from heat and cover for 15 minutes
6.
Chill wort, add to primary vessel and top off to 5.5 gallons
7.
Aerate wort, pitch yeast and 5 drops ferm cap s
8.
After primary fermentation completes, dry hop in primary vessel
9.
Rack to secondary, 5 days after dry hopping
