Notes:

The grapefruit flavor has mellowed quite a bit, but I'd say that the grapefruit flavor is still too much. I'd still say that 1/4 of a fresh grapefruit would be the way to go on this one next go round. Everyone that has tried it really likes it so it's definitely a good recipe.

Notes:

Hazy, straw colored in appearance. Good carbonation (added 10% more dextrose than recommended based on IPA style and I'm glad that I did). Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is initially some sweet grapefruit, then develops into bitter grapefruit, and finishes with a slight taste of alcohol. The bitterness and flavor of grapefruit is extremely lingering. I added, in addition to the dried grapefruit peel, the flesh of an entire, fresh grapefruit to the secondary; I would say a quarter of a grapefruit would be more appropriate.
