Special Instructions

1.
Mash into 4 gal water to ~100 degrees F, using a large bag (e.g., paint strainer bag) to hold the grist
2.
After ~15 minutes, empty the bag into another pot and slowly heat to ~155 degrees F, stirring frequently / constantly, and hold for ~20 minutes
3.
Heat the decoction to boiling, boil ~15 minutes and return to the thin mash, making sure the temperature of the mash doesn't go above ~160 degrees F
4.
Overnight mash (in a well insulated container)
5.
Add honey at flameout

Bottle condition
