Special Instructions

  1. 4 oz. cacao nibs and 2.5 oz medium toast oak cubes
  2. Soak oak and nibs in bourbon one week, add to secondary
  3. 3.33 oz Sumatra coffee, make cold brew for 24 hours
  4. Add coffee at bottling/kegging
  5. Bottle with 3.33 oz corn sugar
  6. Age beer 4 weeks minimum
  7. Hopheads=double 60 min. and 15 min. hop
  8. Hopheads= or just urinate directly into wort
  9. Use Makers Mark Bourbon if possible

    Cracked a one year old bottle recently when my stepfather passed. The situation sucked but the beer was awesome! Will be looking for you in 2020. Brewing another batch in spring so I can age it over the summer........
